This post is dedicated to my, what seems like constant search for black pumps. The search for black pumps is one of those long journey's which along the way, leaves you frustrated, excited, sad and really happy. I was on one of those journey's for about three months. During the winter, I put the search on hold (all the while secretly looking each time I browsed online or high street). Boots were a staple so it didn't really matter. However, once spring rolled around I started to panic I still didn't have at least one pair of black pumps. I had my eye on a Tory Birch pair, but I just couldn't justify spending that much. One day, I reached a low point and the credit card was attempting to leap out of my purse and pay for the Tory Birch shoes. I can't afford it I screamed at the credit card. Sometimes, my credit card can be my worst enemy. It tells me "it's ok, you can pay me off at the end of the month". But it's a vicious, vicious cycle. If you think the credit card cares about your fashionable well being..it doesn't!
I stumbled across a pair of black BCBG pumps in DSW in Chicago. It is a huge discount shoe warehouse with designer shoes from past seasons. With the hint of gold and silver on the heel, it makes them unique and dress up a plain outfit.
I still want a second pair, maybe slightly plain but I am a sucker for gold designs or golden coloured shoes. If anyone would like to tell me about their favorite and comfy black pumps, leave me a comment!
