Synopsis:

This book paints an appalling picture of a post-apocalyptic dystopian future in which hate, prejudice and greed prevail. For me, the story started slowly but soon built momentum as the characters’ unique characteristics and background were gradually revealed.
I loved the narrator’s voice and the writing style that brought this imaginative tale to life. I did not care for the love triangle, but it did not impede the action and adventure scenes that made this book so much fun to read, for me. I look forward to the next book and watching this fictional world expand as the Resistance strives to overcome the mostly manufactured bigotry and fear rampant within this broken society.This book was given to me in exchange for my honest review.
