One of my favorite vegetables is aubergines. The Turkish cuisine has very tasty aubergine recipes however I am not really able to create the same taste since I have been living in England.
Until a friend pointed out one of Ottolenghi's recipes, that is.
My latest obsession is his aubergine with black garlic recipe. Now, I did not have black garlic or the herbs mentioned in the recipe but still it was very tasty! What I have done is, adding garlicky yoghurt, sumac, parsley and pomegranate seeds. Delicious!
