Today’s big geek news is the release of the international trailer for the second installment in the Spider-Man reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. As the newly released poster for film showed previously, along with the touted villains in the shape of Electro and The Rhino there is also the figure of Harry Osbourne as The Green Goblin.
How does this affect the movie, well judging from the trailer released today, quite a lot. With all the build up and publicity previously focusing on Electro, who by the way is hardly present in the trailer, the trailer shifts the focus to Osbourne and reveals a completely different story direction than previously thought.
Does this change add to or detract from the original buzz, only time will tell. With the release of these new developments, more about the film should be released soon in the build up to its May 2014 release.
