That's What He Said!

I was thinking about a few the current fashion trends, and that got me thinking about something else...
What do guys think about what's "in?" Well thanks to Pinterest & the help of a few guys, I got some answers!
I showed 3 guys examples of a few trends and told
them to rate the trend on a scale from 1-5.
1 being "Girl watchchu thinkin?!"
5 being "Girl dat's cute!"
And then I asked them to tell me the first thing that
came to mind about each trend.
NOTE: I made sure to tell them all that they were
judging the piece that I told them to focus on...NOT
the girl in the picture ;)

"Those remind me of Indians...or belly dancers or something."


Neon Color Blocking:

1 out of 5
"That doesn't freaking match. It's like mixing red & pink on
Valentine's Day."


Chambray:

"I like those a lot...they're cute & versatile."


Colored Jeans:

5 out of 5
"They remind me of summer & spring."

He's pretty chill when it comes to style,
but still always looks semi-hipster...sorry Curt ;)

2 out of 5 "It's a little much."
Mullet Skirt:
4 out of 5 "It's a unique way to blend 2 styles of skirts & still look good."
Neon Color Blocking:
1 out of 5 "Not a huge fan of bright color, and I don't think these go well."
Chambray:
5 out of 5 "I love denim button downs on women. It's a little less feminine, but I prefer that. A laid back & cute look."
Colored Jeans:
4 out of 5 "They're a cute slim fit jean style that can enhance an outfit without being too much." .
Joey aka younger brother Joey is a frat boy through & through.

Statement Necklace:
2 out of 5 "Looks like she's wearing shells."
Mullet Skirt:
4 out of 5 "These look good for a somewhat formal setting."
Neon Color Blocking:
2 out of 5 "She doesn't match."
Chambray:
4 out of 5 "Looks good with those jeans."
Colored Jeans:
4 out of 5 "Those colors are okay but I'm sure other colors could look silly. Unless they're worn with a white top." .
The verdict: guys could really care less about what is "in"...actually they typically prefer  fashion that is a little bit more mellow than the bold choices that are currently sweeping women's fashion.
