Thao & the Get Down Stay Down Pick Us up [stream]

Thao & the Get Down Stay Down are back with a new record after almost four years. We the Common will be released in the US on February 5, and we the fans couldn’t be happier! Three tracks have been released thus far from the new record, the most recent a duet with none other than folk queen Joanna Newsom. I’ve been salivating over news of the Newsom duet, so I was thrilled to see this released today. “Kindness Be Conceived” is light and sweet and exactly the type of pick-me-up we need this time of year.
