Russian scientists are scratching their heads, trying to figure out what really happened here in Northern Siberia to leave such a huge hole on earth. The hole actually looks very deep, although we have no idea how deep it is. However, scientists are positive that this wasn’t cased by a meteor or a sink hole.

The Siberian Times reports that the hole is believed to have been formed about two years ago, and scientists are only going over there now to figure out what happened, because apparently they were busy trying to invent glow-in-the-dark pigs.
