Tei Shi – No Angel

One of our favorite local songstresses Tei Shi dropped a smokin’ hot cover of Beyonce’s “No Angel” from her self-titled LP last December. It’s an ambitious task to take on Bey and make it your own, but Tei Shi has mastered her breezy iteration of R&B/pop here, hovering over dancehall beats and synthetic steel drums. Kudos to you, Tei Shi, for touching the untouchable. Soon maybe we’ll be hearing about the Tei-hive…?
