After a surprisingly light release day last Friday, we’re back with a new crop of albums this week that are truly amazing. For starters, the legendary Paul Simon has a new record out, which is, of course, always cause for celebration. Tegan and Sara continue giving everyone a lesson in the perfect way to “go pop” with Love You to Death, and three other pop-gods-in-the-making all have new records — Ladyhawke with her incredible electro, Whitney and their captivating indie-pop and Xenia Rubios with her brand of wicked experimentalism. For those of you looking for a little more guitar slaying, The Kills have returned with their fifth record that’s sure to set fire to many a speaker.
