Whenever a company comes up with something new, there will always be others who would copy that to compete against their rivals. Most popular example is the Apple vs Samsung battle. When Apple launched the iPad, Samsung came up with the Galaxy tab. But, they were too eager to challenge its’ rival, they even forgot to find a better design. That cost them billions of dollars when Apple sued them in different countries over different patent infringements.
