TB Casting Call – Episode 8 “Somebody That I Used To Know”In the latest news from the casting couch…there has been another True Blood Season 5 casting call! This time for Episode 8, which actually has a title! The title is “Somebody That I Used To Know”!

Probably the most interesting thing about this casting call is the name of the director.

[RYDER] This large guy is a wolf who addresses the Shreveport pack as they face a change in leadership. Guest star (38)

[LADY PACKMEMBER] This female member of the wolf pack makes a wry suggestion at a meeting. Co-star (38)

I admit, there’s a couple of things I find interesting about this casting call.

  1. Stephen Moyer is directing. I’m not sure if this means we’ll have less Bill in the episode or not? If his directing is anything like his acting…well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
  2. I wonder why they need a body double for Sam Trammell? Notice they said his name twice? Not Sam Merlotte…but maybe he has to play two roles at once and one of them isn’t Sam Merlotte?
  3. Lastly, I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or bad thing? We haven’t heard anything about Eric’s and Sookie’s storyline(s), other than the bromance. Excuse me while I PUKE.

I don’t know anymore…it seems like there’s too many characters on the show as it is. YAWN. NEXT!
