So
as a lot of you will know if you have seen my pictures on here, that I
have quite long hair. It took me two years of blood sweat and coconut
oil to get it to this length but one thing I hadn't considered, was how
much work it can be -- not to mention how knotty it can get when it's
wet in particular -- which is why I was excited to try out the new
metallic Tangle Angel after being sent it for review consideration.
(Thanks, Tangle Angel!).
The Titanium Detangling Brush is not yet on the shelves, but is due to be released this month. The release is part of their new pro series which features the Titanium version and also a Rose Gold one. Also in the range is a detangling compact brush which is ideal for traveling.
As you can see from the pictures, the brush has a gorgeous metallic finish and looks every inch the professionals brush.
In terms of how it performs, I'm more impressed with this than it's previous models.
The bristles on this are thicker and somewhat longer than previous models which I like. The older brushes were great but the bristles were quite thin and tended to bend whilst using it. With this version, I feel like it's getting every last knot out - and almost painlessly.
I say 'almost' painless because the bristles do scrape your head a little bit if you hold the brush close to your head. Using a light hand is definitely the way forward.
The brush is quite big but is actually surprisingly lightweight. I would say it's even lighter than a standard paddle brush.
I put it to the ultimate test by flipping my hair over and brushing underneath after my hair had been towel dried. Girls, we all know that is theeee most painful thing ever, but the Tangle Angel glided through my hair without any fuss. I'm sold!
