Tame Impala’s ‘feels Like We Only Go Backwards’ [video]

Is it just me, or do music videos just keep getting better? (It isn’t. They totally do.) Once in a blue moon, though, one will come along which decidedly blows my mind. Well, folks, this one’s it. Here you have it– Tame Impala’s (@tameimpala) “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”.

Tame Impala released their sophomore album, Lonerism, in early October and, a few weeks later, put forth this music video for “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”. The colorful psychedelic sequence was created entirely out of modeling clay by Becky Sloan and Joe Pelling. Its over 1000 hand-made collages and stop-motion animation come together to make what is probably the dreamiest, trippiest video clip I’ve ever seen.
