Tall(ish) Girl, Short Dress

I bought this dress in Primark years and years ago. I was looking in my wardrobe the other day, mainly looking for things that I haven't a)worn before b) worn in ages. I pulled out a few things, but decided to put this dress on.
It's a 60's style dress., in red broderie anglaise material, kind of reminds me of something that Twiggy would have worn.
It was only when I put on the dress, I realised that it was far to short for me (I haven't put on any back view photos because you can literally see my bum.)
Maybe when I loose a few pounds, the shortness won't be so noticeable. Failing that, do you think there's a way I can style this, other than putting leggings under it!!




 Maybe this is just on dress I'll just have to part ways with.
