Family Magazine
I have to admit that with all of the wonderful Dia De Los Ninos, Earth Day and Fiesta celebrations this weekend, we stayed home, relaxed and caught up on some quality family time. Pajama days, backyard play and some special visits from the grandparents were due.
This weekend I also got a bit of "me" time with some of my favorite ladies! Like many of you, I am on the go, and multi-task all day, everyday! So having some time to just destress and have fun is needed for everyone, and to have it in the great company of other mommy friends was amazing!
Friday night I got to have dinner and go to the Spurs game with one friend. Great seats. Spurs won. Lots of laughs!
Sunday, I had a lunch date with another mommy friend, where I got to just unwind and talk blogging for a few hours. Great conversation. Pecan Crusted Salad. A latte and a mini tiramasu!
But not before putting this awesome Chicken Terriyaki in a crockpot! I got the recipe from Pinterest, got it ready before my lunch date, and by the time I was home, it was ready for dinner! (And delicious, you can find the recipe here.)
I need to do this more often!
How was your Earth Day? What do you do with your "me" time?
I am linking up with Stacy at Kids Stuff World to share my favorite moments of the week via Life In An Instant!
