Fashion Magazine
Hi friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend (: I took some MUCH needed R+R time after a crazy, busy week. I did lots of crafting (I even started making myself some shirts), watched some Netflix (new Parks and Rec fan here), and enjoyed a few glasses of wine. I'm ready to take on the new week!
That being said - I wanted to talk about something that I am not the best at:
After getting accepted into grad school last week, I realized that I am not the best at celebrating, like truly celebrating, my achievements. I work SUPER hard to achieve something and then I'm like, "WOO YEAH AWESOME, okay now what's next?" ...and I wonder why I'm exhausted 24/7.
I'm all for making sure that I'm not stagnant and consistently chasing goals, but that doesn't mean that I need to skip out on pausing and appreciating what I've done. I want to be more intentional about patting myself on the back, taking time to let accomplishments soak in a little bit.
And I want to encourage you to do the same! We work hard to make things happen. We deserve to celebrate and soak in the great work that we've done!
Celebrating can be done in so many ways - you can do something grand like take a vacation or something small like pop a bottle of champagne with a loved one. Either way CHEER YOURSELF ON! You are a big deal. What you do matters. Even the little things! Don't forget that as you're working toward + achieving your goals.

P.S. Here is one of the shirts I made this weekend! I love it!
