Sharing ‘Sweater Series’ for the next few days on the blog. I recently realized that I do not know many chunky knits. And most of them are years old. So decided to showcase them and archive the story behind all of their purchases.First up is this slouchy, purple-black-striped piece from ASOS. It is not pure wool unfortunately but has lasted me a good decade and gets a lot of wear every winter. I had purchased sometime around 2012-2013 back when I lived in San Antonio, TX. The winters there are blink and miss so this was all the layer I ever needed. However, while my years in Maryland I have layered and styled it with all the different versions of black and white blouses in my closet. Wore it here with an indigo blue blouse, and here for my first snow in MarylandWhile now I rarely ever wear it “formally” but it is still one of my favorites and a regular in my at-home-outfit rotation.
