 Sweater Series: Thirteenth Installment

I have not blogged this consistently in eons. Right now I am not doing it for more traffic or any prior contractual brand commitment. I am doing it because one-odd day I decided to share my sweater collection on the blog, and now I must see it through. Ha! The idea came to me partly with the need to archive and partly to share with my readers how I own and wear the same pieces year after year without giving into the temptation of trends and sales. However, I must acknowledge my privilege here as a blogger. I have acquired this privilege due to the longevity of my blog and choice to be a content creator, albeit an unambitious content creator. The privilege I speak of is having access to products and clothing for the purpose of content creator or online review. So even when I don't shop, I do get something new at my doorstep by the virtue of this blog.

Over the years, I have reduced the number of projects I take on, as well as become selective in the brands I work with. For the past few years, the idea has been to work with local business, and fewer brands from consistency and value. For all parties involved: myself, my readers, and the business.

This particular sweater is from a local business DeNada Designs, which used to weave these unique woolen designs, with wool sourced from Peru. (This was before my own trip to Peru where I bought this and this.) Today, the owner can pivoted the business towards a brick and mortar store which hosts products from local vendors. Anyhoo, this continues to be another one of my favorite pieces. Had there been a party that I was invited to, I would have totally worn this outfit. Previously styled here with boot-leg jeans and long hair.
