Sweater Series: Ninth Installment
So today was the first snow day. Of course, I got excited. Everything was white, and fluffy and pristine. I shared it on Insta-Stories as one must, only to realize so did everyone else who lives in the area. We are a predictable lot, aren't we? But its snowballed (pun intended) from excitement to annoyance in no time. As soon after there was heavy rainfall. Everything got slushy and brown and disgusting. So in true 2020-fashion the roller-coaster of emotions continue ...
This is the other sweater I bought from Peru. However, this is from one of the street shops and not a boutique. While the shopkeeper was adamant that it is made with pure alpaca and it sure feels super soft and cozy, I wouldn't bet on it (because I am a cynic). While I didn't need a gray sweater (I'd already got one in my wardrobe) or any sweater for that matter but I couldn't resist getting one for mere $10. I wear it on my days off with sweats or joggers and am very happy on days that I do.
