Sweater Series: Eleventh Installment
There has been A LOT of traffic being driven to my posts from 2009 which has me going down memory lane myself. Having an online archive of your thoughts and pictures is both a blessing and a curse. Initial thoughts after seeing the old posts, "Boy, I was so young." Also, so much fun. I have come a long way since those days ... from what I wore, what I thought and believed. Luckily, it has all been good for most parts. I do miss the carefreeness and naivety though, which is something you have in abundance when you are young ... sigh! Like they say, the youth I wasted on the young.Moving on to the sweater. It is from French Connection and I had bought it in London, in 2005, with one of my first paychecks. I do remember it was a bit pricey (£100? or near about). The good thing about spending that kind of money on real wool is that it lasts you a long time. Also, I still love the cut and design. I have in fact started clipping the buttons asymmetrically to make it interesting (as show above). Keeping up with the theme of this post, incidentally, I had worn this sweater in one of my earlier posts from 2009 (where in fact right at the bottom I have mentioned that Fashion Journaling aka outfit posts are probably not my thing. Look at me now! Ha!).
