The charts above are from a Public Religion Research Institute Poll done between April 5th and December 23rd of 2017. They show the percentage in each state that support equal rights for the LGBT community. About 40,017 adults were surveyed.
The top chart shows the percentage that supports legal same-sex marriages. Note that a majority in 44 states support it, while only six states have less than a majority -- Louisiana (48%), Mississippi (42%), Alabama (41%), North Carolina (49%), West Virginia (48%), and Tennessee (46%).
The second chart shows the percentage that believes businesses should not have a right to refuse service to LGBT individuals because of religion. Note that 47 states have a majority saying businesses should not be allowed to discriminate on religious grounds, while only 3 states have less than a majority -- Utah (48%), North Dakota (49%), and South Dakota (49%).
The bottom chart shows the percentage in each state supporting a law prohibiting discrimination against LGBT individuals in jobs, public accommodations, and housing. All 50 states have majorities supporting such a law.
Religious fundamentalists are still fighting against equal rights for the LGBT community. They feel that their religious beliefs should trump the United States Constitution, and allow them to discriminate. But they are part of a shrinking minority. Most Americans believe all Americans should enjoy the same rights.
