Vikas Bahl's much-awaited biopic-drama Super 30 starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead released its trailer.
Super 30 is an Indian Hindi language film based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program Super 30. Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Anand in the film and Mrunal Thakur as his love interest. the rest of the cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ritvik Sahore, Aditya Srivastava, Virendra Saxena.
Super 30 has been marred in controversy over the sexual misconduct allegation against the director Vikas Bahl from actress Nayani Dixit and a Phantom employee. Since the allegation, Vikas was fired by Phantom, and the production house itself got disbanded. For a brief period of time, Anurag Kashyap was directing the incomplete part of the film post the controversy broke out. Later, post an internal inquiry by Reliance Entertainment, Vikas Bahl was cleared of sexual misconduct charges, and thus he was taken back as the director of the film.
Super 30 is set to release on 12 July 2019
