Sundays India Style

So here we are at long last, the start of my absolutely incredible week long trip to India! I was so excited about going off to India that I could hardly believe it when I was waking up at 3.45 am Saturday 22nd November and making our way to the airport. Anyhoo after a rather pleasant 7 hour trip from Amsterdam to Delhi (or New Delhi) we arrived, and fell straight into bed after a little midnight snack and tea.  Waking up feeling as though I had been dragged through a bush backwards due to a minuscule amount of sleep and jet lag issues, we ambled down to breakfast. Although feeling shattered I was extremely keen to start our journey/ my week of adventures so was literally forcing myself not to fall back asleep at breakfast by snapping some photos. | More to come on the Imperial Hotel at the end of the trip. Nothing quite like a (few) pots of green tea to rejuvenate yourself, plus a delicious breakfast.
