Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Or as I am calling it this year, just another Sunday. Does anyone really care about the game this year? I just feel like there are other things that are more worthwhile than watching Tom Brady and Bill Belichick cheat their way through another game. I am happy for the Falcons but that does not mean I want to watch any of the festivities. How about you?
Last week was exhausting, but this week was just downright depressing. Between work shit and the ongoing drama from D.C., it was a bit more than I could take this week. Jim is having some issues of his own at work that aren’t helping. To make matters worse, Connor has a serious case of ennui that is getting worse and seriously impacting everything he does, and we don’t know how to help him. Then, the final cap was finding out Holly was passed over for a solo role in the ballet for someone who has only been dancing for a year to Holly’s eight years. Frustrating.
The bright spot in the week was some much-needed self-care and friends. Jim and I continued our CrossFit onboarding program and found that 4:30 AM may be early but the workout is too awesome to mind too much. Between that and a manicure appointment as well as a hair appointment, it was nice to take a break from everything. Then, I got to meet up with a friend I have not seen for a while. It definitely improved a crappy week.
Here are past posts from the last week in case you missed them the first time:

What is going on in your life? Do you have any plans for the big game today? More importantly, what yummy foods are you going to make? (Hey, I might not watch the game but that does not mean I cannot make a Super Bowl spread.)
Have a great day, everyone! I wish you all a fantastic week and will see you back here next Sunday!
