Happy Sunday!
Jim is on his way home right now. I have no idea where he is but that’s okay. He will be home at some point in time this afternoon. Of course, I don’t know when but since I have to pick him up from the bus stop I will soon learn.
This past week has been another roller coaster. No snow, thank goodness. That pales in comparison though to the latest school shooting. Seriously, I am so tired of children having access to guns that have no right being on the street, and I am tired of thoughts and prayers being the only action out of Washington. I did start a monthly contribution to Everytown for Gun Safety but am most intrigued by the walkout on March 14th. If millions of men and women can come together to march for equality, we can certainly take ten minutes out of our day to march for the sake of our children.
The rest of the week was business as usual. Work, school, dance, puppy duty, rinse, and repeat. Jim has one more week before he starts his job, so Holly and I get a bit of a break next week. I know Tallulah will be happy to have more attention.
I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. Holly and I are enjoying one last relatively free weekend. We hit the road on Friday for her first dance competition weekend of the year. This one takes us to Des Moines, where she will be unveiling her solo. So I won’t see you back here next weekend or even the weekend after that as she is competing again then as well. No rest for the weary!
