Happy Sunday!
It is cloudy and cold here today, which means it is the perfect day to stay inside under blankets. That is exactly what I am going to do too.
GRATEFUL FOR: This week has been another week fraught with stories of sexual abuse. While difficult to read, I am so grateful for everyone who is coming forward to share their stories of sexual assault/harassment/abuse. I know this has led to some frank discussions with my husband, who is now seeing these stories in a completely different light. I also think this is the beginning of a much-needed and long overdue dialog within the country. It is too soon to consider it a revolution, but it is a step in the right direction.
ENJOYED: My best friend got married last night. Her wedding was beautiful. She was gorgeous. Her husband is a darling. We danced, we drank, we had a blast celebrating the newlyweds.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: Connor is coming home on Friday night for Thanksgiving break. I can’t wait!
