Sooji- Maida Masala Poori goes well with Aloo ki sabzi. These spicy pooris can be served at mealtime or as a tea-time snack.

Ingredients :
All purpose flour (Maida) : 2 cups
Semolina (Sooji) : 1 cup
Oil : 4 tsp and for frying
Red chili powder : 1- 1 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds : 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp
Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 medium
Ginger paste : 1/2 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped) : 1 tsp
kasoori meethi (Crushed with your hands) : 2 tsp
Water: For making dough
Method :
1. Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead into a firm dough by adding water little at a time. The dough should be medium soft.
2. Keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.
3. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll them into small circles. The size of the Poori depends on your preference.
4. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the pooris one or two at a time on a high flame till they are golden brown from both the sides.
5. Serve hot with Chatpate Aloo ki sabzi
