It’s Jesus Christ our Lord knocking on your door.
Notice anything unusual about the door?
It has no door handle on the outside. The door handle is on the inside.
That means YOU must choose to open the door and let Him in.
When He created you, along with life, He gave you another entirely gratuitous gift — that of Free Will, including the free choice NOT to believe in Him.
Imagine that.
How much must He respect and love you to do that.
He wants us to come to Him and to love Him, of our own free volition.
For love is not love, unless it is freely given. What good is a love that is coerced?
Won’t you turn that door knob and let Him in?
