Summer Shopping Wishlist

Posted on the 15 April 2014 by Cheekymeeky

So I might have mentioned earlier on my blog that I am unseasonably glum these days. Books haven’t been the mental escape that they usually have been and so these days I have turned to more visual distractions – fashion and home decor magazines, and pretty websites.

Here are a few things I saw online and liked a lot.

My summer shopping wishlist

My summer shopping wishlist

I don’t know for how long I have adored this dress from afar, but it seems perfect for summer. I love the polka dots, the colors, and I also love that it’s not bodycon, which means that even though I’m thoroughly out of shape this summer I can still look half-way decent in something like this.

Snubnose has so far not requested for a new swimsuit this summer, but I am pretty sure if I did get her this one, she would love it to bits. Those ruffles at the neckline are just her style.

And of course some casual kicks for Snubnose and me. Snubnose has been wanting laced shoes for some time now, and I can easily see her loving this pair with a heart on it, and pretty flip-flops could motivate me to just take a little more care of my scabby feet.

So these are what I am wishing for now. And why am I putting up my wishlist on my blog? I have absolutely no idea. Like I said, I am bored, unmotivated, and depressed.

It’s not even like I am planning to buy any of the stuff I have put up here

:(
.

Do you do this? Make random collages off stuff you find on the web? I don’t. I see something, like something, forget about it within the next 2 minutes.

But these are sticking to my head somehow. Like I said I am bored. Money is tight so retail therapy is not an option, and the best escape now is looking at, pinning, and dreaming about aspirational stuff.

How do you beat the blues?
