Summer Fridays: Favorite Music

By Abrunetteinthecity
Okay so summer may not be officially in bloom yet (but hello summer Fridays!), but I think I may have already found some of my favorite summer tunes!
Summer Fridays: Favorite MusicDaft Punk - Random Access MemoriesThe first single off this album, Get Lucky, puts me into a good mood whenever I hear it! Its catchy, its clever and dare I say you can relate to it?! Its features Pharrell (who I always love) so that's an added bonus. I see this as the perfect song to singalong to with all your best friends hanging out.
Robin Thicke - Blurred LinesNow if there's one song I find more catchy than Get Lucky, it is Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke. I could listen to this song on repeat all day, that's how much I love it. And Surprise! Pharrell is features on this song too, and if he keeps on popping up on different tracks I think I'll have my summer playlist all set. T.I. is also on this too and basically all I can say is go check out the video...but make sure you aren't checking out the unrated version.
Summer Fridays: Favorite MusicThe Great Gatsby SoundtrackI'd bet my right arm that you have probably heard at least one song off this album. I'd bet my left arm too that you probably have listened to one song on this album on repeat for an entire week! Now I'm not sure how fond F. Scott Fitzgerald may have been knowing that one day Jay-Z and Kanye would be featured on the soundtrack but hey..if the shoe fits! Some of my favorites off this album include, Lana Del Rey's Young and Beautiful, (Queen) Beyonce and Andre 3000 on Back to Black, A Little Party Never Killed Nobody by Fergie, and Over The Love by Florence + The Machine. So yeah, clearly this album is just an absolute wonder.
What do you guys think? Have any news songs your obsessing over?!
