Suganda AHA Exfoliating Serum| 10% Lactic Acid

Hello my lovely people out there!!! ☺

Chemical exfoliation is a hot topic these days though it’s been a part of a skincare routine for a really long time. A couple of months back I reviewed suganda BHA serum which had 2% salicylic acid. Here I am with Suganda’s AHA exfoliating Serum which has 10% Lactic acid as the chemical exfoliant. Let me directly dive into the review.

Regular exfoliation can keep skin youthful and can keep pores clear, hence less acne. Gotukola is a fantastic skin rejuvenation herb and Green Tea is a great anti Oxidant with sun protective properties and also helps reduce acne.

My experience with Suganda AHA exfoliating serum

Packaging

The packaging is the same for all their serum. It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. You can find all the basic information on the label.

How is the consistency and color of Suganda AHA exfoliating serum?

The has watery consistency and the serum is light orange in color. It gets absorbed into the skin and doesn’t feel sticky or tacky.

How’s the fragrance?

Surprisingly AHA exfoliating serum doesn’t have any bothersome fragrance compared to their BHA serum and antioxidant serum. The fragrance doesn’t really matter as it fades away after application.

This AHA serum contains 10% Lactic acid, gotukola & green tea. This concentration (10%) did not cause any tingling sensation nor irritation on my face. Another thing about this AHA serum is that it doesn’t dry out the skin. If you have dry sensitive skin and want to try chemical exfoliation then I would suggest going for Lactic acid first.

If you are dealing with uneven skin tones, tan, Hyperpigmentations then you can definitely try this AHA serum. Lactic acid helps in reducing the dark spots and I personally loved the formulation of Suganda AHA serum. The pH and concentration are optimized in such a way that it did not cause any irritation on my skin.

How do I use it?

After washing my face, I use a few drops of this serum and after 20 to 30 minutes I follow it up with vitamin c serum and my magic lotion. I have oily skin and so I don’t feel the need for any extra hydration. Magic lotion does the job. If you have dry skin then after using the serum, hydrate your face really with hyaluronic acid serum or moisturizer or your regular night cream or if you have the magic lotion.

Oh yes, I include this exfoliating serum in my nighttime routine and use it only on alternate days. If you’re using it during the day DO NOT FORGET TO USE SUNSCREEN.

Amazing things about Suganda AHA exfoliating serum

Fairly priced for the quality and Quantity.

A very good option for dry sensitive people.

Did not cause any irritation.

One bottle will last for atleast 3 months.

Lactic acid helps in reducing Hyperpigmentations, uneven skin tones.

The right type of chemical exfoliation for mature skin.

Contains 10% Lactic acid with pH 3.8 but still, it’s not drying as it contains other antioxidant and hydrating ingredients.

It acts as a humectant.

CONS of Suganda AHA exfoliating serum

None

Final Verdict

If you are dealing with pigmentations, dark spots and have dry sensitive skin then I would highly recommend you to try this exfoliating serum. This, when used regularly, would improve the skin texture too.
