Stream Iska Dhaaf’s Synth Fever Dream The Wandering Creatures [Premiere]

Iska Dhaaf have been making waves with their unique sound for a while now. Their first album, Even The Sun Will Burn, was a phenomenal debut of swirling synths and melodies. With their sophomore effort, The Wanting Creatures, though, they keep the swirling synths but add in a new layer of moody darkness. Starting off with the immediately enrapturing stand out track “Invisible Cities”, the duo immediately sets the tone for the rest of the record — one that feels like a kaleidoscope in the dark, with bits of light puncturing the shifting darkness, remaining soft while still chattering with barely repressed anxiety. The Wanting Creatures is an incredible second record and proves the Brooklyn via Seattle duo is a creative team to be reckoned with. Check out the full stream of the record above and be sure to check out the pre-order here.
