While the alt/folk genre might not get as much love on here as it probably should, you'll always bet that anything Sam Beam aka Iron & Wine puts out, I will be posting about it. I've always had a place in my music collection for his music and I am excited about his upcoming fifth studio album called Ghost On Ghost. While the record is not out until next week, the good folks at NPR already have the full thing available to stream. Loving this album so far and although his sound has somewhat evolved over the years, Beam still provides a warming and heartfelt piece of art, which is all I can ask from him.
