Beer? Yeah, they’ve got a couple on tap.
Stout Street Social is now open at 1400 Stout Street in Denver. I heard that they had a great selection of beers on tap, so I stopped by last week to see for myself.
Ginger Pear Martini and a Hazed & Infused (Boulder Beer)
Not only did I find 40 beers on tap, but they also have an extensive list of fine wines (40 by the glass!) and classically inspired cocktails. I went in after work and tried some of the bites off the happy hour food menu, offered M-F from 3-6 p.m.
Crispy Brussels: Mint, cilantro, truffle-chili glaze, snap, crackle, pop.
They have a good mixture of snacks on the happy hour menu, including specials from their oyster & raw bar, prime rib sliders, and some yummy vegetarian items as well. I loved the Crispy Brussels! And I also enjoyed the deviled eggs with truffle & chives. They also make a great batch of crispy mushrooms with Mojo beer batter and mustard sauce.
Crispy Mushrooms: Mojo beer batter, mustard dipping sauce.
I was excited to see some of my favorite Colorado breweries on tap, such as Crooked Stave, Avery, Epic, Great Divide, and many more. And a few others from various states, like Green Flash and Firestone Walker. The beer list was very impressive. I also had to try one of their signature cocktails, and I went with a Ginger Pear Martini, which was excellent.
Stout Street Social is in an ideal location downtown, just across the street from the Convention Center. They even have a “Theater Menu,” which features a 3-course dinner with discounted valet parking. It is a fun place for happy hour with friends, dinner before a show, or just to grab a drink any time. Check it out!
