Ten thousand points for your if you guessed which one caught my eye? Yep, the Rose Gold one. There's just something about rose gold that I really love and this palette was like owning your own chocolate factory. It just is so beautiful and the mere sight of it had me excited.
It just looks more 'grown up' in comparison to the late teens early 20's marketed packaging that they normally have. That's not to say I don't love the other palettes, because I do but if you read my blog, then you will know that I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and this one ticks every box.
BLOGGER PROBLEM - Photographing this was a complete nightmare! it is mirrored and reflects every tiny bit of light!
Aside from that, here's how pretty the inside of the Eyes are the Window "body" palette looks..
There are twelve shadows in the palette and all of them have a satin finish. They claim to be long lasting and I certainly wouldn't disagree with that. All of the colours are jewel tones and come with different, catchy names:
- Pink Diamond
- Topaz
- Garnet
- Rose Quartz
- Aquamarine
- Emerald
- Amethyst
- Tanzanite
- Midnight Quartz
- Moonstone
- Sapphire
- Black Diamond
What I did like was that the colours are not overly glittery. There is a good amount of shimmer but definitely not a trace of the gritty glitter you sometimes find in palettes.
I am genuinely tempted to go and buy all of the other palettes simply because of two reasons:
1 - each palette is an all rounder that I could take on holiday with me & not have to take any other eyeshadows
2 - the packaging is just so pretty.
What are your thoughts on this palette? I would loooove to hear what you think?
