Steven Wilson has made a no-frills lyric video for Man of the People, a track from his forthcoming new album The Future Bites. It is a song about the people who have to deal with a family member (partner, parent) who gets caught up in a self-inflicted scandal. He pities those who are at risk of going down in flames as well, wrapping the serious message about collateral damage in a slow, lush pop arrangement.
The Future Bites will be released on January 29, 2021 on cassette, CD, vinyl, BluRay, and as a limited edition box set. Get it from his store.
