has been making waves as a singer and a songwriter for years with a string of great singles and his full-length album, Timing Is Everything. And while we're all still dealing with the reality of the pandemic and the restrictions it has brought to us - Steven has gone ahead and given his fans something to smile about with the release of an acoustic version of his recent single, Can't Not - and a new music video to go with it!
We're happy to be here with you all right now to premiere that video - so hit play now and watch as Steven and his social circle have a good old fashioned time out in the country.
Steven Lee Olsen, Can't Not (Acoustic)
The acoustic version of Can't Not is available now on all of your favourite streaming platforms - so go download it, save it, and stream it there too.
When asked about the decision to record an acoustic version of Can't Not, here's what Steven said, "I decided to release an acoustic version of Can't Not as a campfire edition in time for the long weekend. I think it also says a lot about a song when you can strip it down and it doesn't lose its energy."
And when it came time to make the video he said, "This video was as fun to make as it is to watch. We got together at a friend's farm outside of Nashville and built a campfire by the pond and basically just captured us doing all the things you "Can't Not" do out in the country with your buddies. Bonfire, playing music, chugging beers, four-wheeling & just escaping from all the hustle and bustle for a bit."
It is fun to watch and we bet it was a blast to be there with Steven, Shannon Ella (his wife and 2020 CCMA nominee for Country Personality of the Year), and friends.
