How Step Rockets remain unsigned is an anomaly to us.  The Minneapolis four-piece broke onto the scene in a big way with their earworm pop single “Kisser”, which garnered nearly 500,000 listens on Soundcloud and made it to the top of the Hype Machine chart.  Today, we get to keep this sun-filled, pop party going with band’s new track “Heart Attack Again”. The song sees the band adding a little bit of an R&B vibe, opening with a hip-hop style beat only to transition into huge synths that sound straight out of an 80’s pop record. Though less guitar-centric than their previous hit, this track definitely still brings the same energy, and while it may not turn out to be the same chart topper as their first, this new effort is definitely going to make people take a closer look at what is going on in Minneapolis.
