Thomas signed a two year deal. Looks like he has some technique problems but he has starting experience is only 27 and is a big man. I think there is a chance he can be made into a decent nose tackle for this system though I assume for now he is just going to be expected to be the backup to McLendon and maybe play some on obvious running situations.
Also Alex Carrington seems to be having an extended visit so maybe he is close to signing. I think he could be a decent depth option for the d-line and maybe even start opposite of Heyward if noone else is acquired. Possibly let these two compete against each other for a starting job with McLendon playing the other position.
