Steelers Injury Report: Shazier a full participant in Thursday practice
The highly touted rookie inside linebacker, Ryan Shazier, finally participated in 11 on 11 drills on the last day of camp, leaving the door open for his participation Saturday in the second preseason game.
The wait could be over for Pittsburgh Steelers fans to see what their prized first round draft pick, Ryan Shazier, has to offer the defense this Saturday.
Although listed on head coach Mike Tomlin's list of questionable players Thursday afternoon, Shazier was a full participant in the joint practice session with the Buffalo Bills.

This was the first time the rookie for Ohio State University participated in 11 on 11 drills since acquiring the 'boo boo' to his knee over a week ago.
Shazier injured his knee during a live contact session the week prior to the Steelers' first preseason game against the New York Giants. Although Tomlin deemed the injury to be a 'boo boo', it was revealed today that the injury was a bruised knee.
The bruise kept Shazier out of the lineup last Saturday, but Shazier himself said earlier in the week he expects to play against the Buffalo Bills when the Steelers open up the doors to Heinz Field for the first time in 2014.
Expectations are high for the rookie inside linebacker. Already deemed a starter by defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau, he will have to live up to the hype surrounding the 15th overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft. If he isn't able to do that, Sean Spence seemed more than capable of filling that inside linebacker role if need be.
The Steelers officially closed camp today at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. They have Friday off of practice leading up to the game Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
