Steam has now launched mobile apps for Android and iOS to keep gamers connected on the go and keep them engaged in the Steam community.
Unfortunately this is still in closed beta, so downloading the App won’t help much as you need to have the Mobile beta activated on your desktop client, but it seems like trying to login via the App adds you in the Queue for beta invite.
So download the app and login to join the line.
