With the republic recently spared from Republicans for at least another two years, I've turned my attention to other things, like Jane Austen and whether or not my wife will appreciate my Valentines' gift of a dust buster, but I did watch the State of the Union address last night. And the Republican response. Uff duh. You always hear about the Republican bench, these up-and-coming stars who will save the party from oblivion. We deserve a Ryan-Rubio ticket!
Really? That's the best they got? A marathon fibber, a thirsty third-base coach, and the same old palpably memorized pablum. Get government off our back! It's not true that my neighbors are rich! President Obama says mean stuff about us! Sweat, sweat; gulp, gulp.
