In the news business, stories so predictable they can be stored for filler articles on dull news days are called, “Standing Heads.”
Here’s one today that we could write ourselves without knowing even one detail.

Two people were killed and five injured, three critically, after a pair of shootings outside rap concerts in Toronto and Holmdel, New Jersey late Monday night into Tuesday.
Blah blah blah, “rap concert shooting…” “can’t understand why…” “just getting his life together…”
No offense is intended toward the great writing of Danial Nussbaum. It’s just that the story (not the writing) is so predictable my eyes roll when I hear it.
To all the Hip-Hop thugs out there, you are nothing if not boring.
