St Patrick’s Church, is nestled in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains, only a stone’s throw from the village of Enniskerry and the Powerscourt Estate. The building of St Patrick’s church was completed in 1861. Previously the protestant population of Enniskerry went to church in a church on the Powerscourt Estate.
Today St Patrick’s is surrounded by some fantastic evergreen trees and is decorated with some ornate stained glass windows. The church boasts a pipe organ located to the left hand side of the altar. The church can easliy hold a congreation of roughly 150 people.
