Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released on PC in 2014, according to multiple industry sources close to Eurogamer.
The release plan is pretty similar to the the same one used for Grand Theft Auto 4, which released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 29 before launching on PC the following December.
In August Nvidia’s senior director of investor relations, Chris Evenden, noted a PC version of GTA 5 during a financial call, but the firm said this was made in error.
Earlier this week, Intel executive Chris R. Silva said he expects Grand Theft Auto 5 to come to PC eventually, suggesting the PC version was excluded at launch due to “someone” paying to keep it on consoles.
