Spring Fragrance: Michael Kors

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
I'm not sure about you, but each season I am pretty happy to switch up my beauty routine and start afresh with new makeup and in particular a new scent.

Spring Fragrance: Michael Kors

Sexy Sunset

Being a Beauty blogger, I'm lucky enough to try out a lot of new products and fragrances but the latest drops from Michael Kors instantly perked up my nostrils. I dislike the word 'nostrils' a lot but for some reaon, I felt compelled to say it. Nostril overload.
Moving on, Michael Kors recently released two new scents "Michael Kors Coral" and "Michael Kors Sexy Sunset". Both are definitely Spring/summer fragrances with them both offering prominent floral notes. Normally, wearing the smell of flowers would scare me a bit, I'm more of a peppery fragrance fan but both of these are pretty without being intense.
Sexy Sunet has a tall bottle which looks a lot like a sunset (shockingly Lolz). It looks like a 'red sky at night shepherd's delight' kind of thing. You know the kind of sunset I men. It's pretty. I like it a lot. In terms of how it smells, I am literally the worst at describing scents, but here we go! it smells a little bit like blackcurrant with a floral twist. I realize that makes no sense but according to the ingredient list, it contaings pear, blackcurrant (woohoo!), freesia and lotus flower accord with notes of other scents such as jasmine, cedarwood and vanilla amongst others.

Coral

Coral is limited edtion and is set to be released exclusively to Harrods from the 16th of March and is completely different to Sexy Sunset.  For starters, the bottle is erm... coral. I love the fact that it looks like Summer in a bottle but smells fruity and almost exotic. I can see myself wearing this regularly throughout 2016. I love the smell of grapefruit and this has a definite hint of it. There is also Pink Pepper, Sandalwood and musk (amongst a load of other notes) which are definitely noticeable upon first whiff.
With both fragrances, I would say one of two spritzes will last a long time. I was being complimented on  Coral throughout the day and I had only sprayed it once on my wrists and once on my neck in the morning.
I loooove them both. I wish there was smelevision so you could smell what I'm whiffing on right now. Mmmm Nasal perfection. Yuck, nasal.
Have you tried out any of the Michael Kors perfumes? Let me know if you're going to grab a bottle of Coral when it's released. I might buy another one as a backup haha!
