Spraying Bricks: CYRCLE

By Ukstreetart @ukstreetart

Back in February Spraying Bricks had the privilege of meeting two guys from California, Rabi and Davey. Doug and Doug are from the art collective CYRCLE.

They were fresh from PowWow Hawaii and this pieces was painted over the course of 5 days and nights to mark the launch of their show at Stolen Space Gallery earlier int he year. The image depicts the statue ‘Rape of Polyxena’ by Pio Fedi.

CYRLCE take oppressive imagery to create hope and inspiration. Revealing complex ideologies in their simple forms, CYRCLE are combining the aesthetic of classic romanticism with alchemical symbolism. They strive to highlighting dark areas of society and playfully exposing those gray areas of life.
