Justine has posted before about super cool nail art inspired by books here, and with this month being especially spooky we wanted to participate in some pampering. We headed down to The Beauty Spot in Mesa, Arizona to get some Halloween love from their nail technician, Linda. She was awesome!
We had a vacation coming up the week after and since we’re both moms we’re really hard on our nails. Normal nail polish never lasts very long so we opted for the gel nail polish, which was so fun! She had so many colors to choose from.
Justine opted for black polish and green glitter on her ring finer and orange glitter on thumb. It looked great and Linda was great to talk to, we had so much fun gabbing about family and the upcoming holidays.
Now comes our favorite part. Linda makes her own homemade sugar scrubs and lotions, and they felt and smelled AMAZING. She is in the process now of making enough to sell at The Beauty Spot and by the end of the month she’s going to have several different scents available. She used a fresh orange scent with us and we were both feeling so pampered!
The colors I opted for were similar to Justine’s because hers turned out so cute! I went for a chocolate brown color base with “espresso” glitter, and the same orange Justine had on her thumbs on my ring fingers.
