TENS LISTWhat are 10 weird things about you?
- I did not speak a single word until I was two years old, and then I only spoke in complete sentences.
- I never was into rock or pop music like my peers growing up. All I liked listening to was background music from movies, especially horror.
- Because I was hard of hearing, I instinctively learned how to read lips and could often figure out what adults were saying from a distance just by watching their mouths move.
- I have a thyroid problem and my hair doesn’t grow any longer. I haven’t cut it since 1992!
- I was always stronger than my body weight and size would indicate. When I weighed 200 pounds I could bench press 420. (I don’t even try to go there anymore. LOL)
- My idea of the perfect date is spending the day at a juvenile probation facility visiting with the kids. (As you can expect, I didn’t find anyone who shared this idiosyncrasy.)
- I have a feeling I was Native American in a past life because of my lifelong affinity with the culture. I also suspect I was aboard Titanic in yet another lifetime. Like Native culture, I have been obsessed with the Titanic story my whole life.
- I HATE loud music and avoided every dance in high school.
- I used to record favorite movies or TV shows onto audiocassette tapes by placing the recorder next to the TV speaker. Then I would listen to them over and over again, memorize the dialogue, and often act them out myself, including the accents of the actors.
- I saw the movie “The NeverEnding Story” thirty-two times in the theater. I loved the book and, obviously, the movie, too. LOL
