We've had so much sun in the last few days that I thought it would be nice to paint something a little more spring inspired on my nails. The photos aren't great, and don't show it very clearly the little flowers that I painted on my nails, but I still love the effect that it gives in real life. The blue from barry M is a perfect Spring/Summer colour, has a really milky texture and dries really quickly. The white that I used was actually a new purchase, and although a nice consistency it wan't really suit to nail art as it is not pigmented enough in one coat.
The glitter nail polish that I used is so beautiful, and comes from the Nails Inc Winter collection so I am not sure if it is still available to purchase. It becomes opaque in two coats (pretty good for a glitter nail polish I think) and works really well as both the accent nail and the dots on the flowers. It's a very simple look and easy to create, and fits perfectly with the time of year!
